I LOVE to see the TEMPLE!!!!

As some of you may know, our new home came with a view. Out of my kitchen window I see this:

This is a view of the same field from my upstairs window.

Here is another view from over my backyard wall.

“So what’s the big deal?” You ask.

This.

That’s right folks, the new LDS temple will be built on these very acres I look out at right now. We are going to get to see the Temple of the Lord being constructed – from ground breaking to dedication.

I am SOOO excited!!

I have decided to visually track this progress on a new blog called http://www.gilbertldstemple.blogspot.com/. It’s not an opinion blog, only a visual record of what I can see from my window and nearby corners. I am not official in any way and won’t have any information for people, other than my photos.

Add this blog to your roll so you can see the temples progress!!!

That is so cool to have your "own" temple in your back yard.

That is seriously cool. I can see the Bountiful temple out my back windows, but nearly as close up as you can see the Gilbert temple. I bet you love your new house that much more now.

So.. this morning my husband and I had the privilege of attending our 2nd temple dedication in 7 months (1st was Draper Temple and today Oquirruh Mountain) and felt so blessed to be surrounded by 3 temples I can see on my morning runs... so imagine how excited I am that through your blog I can see a backyard view of a temple being constructed from the ground to great skies...

What a GREAT blessing!!
