Really? Why do I bother?

I loved having my own room as a child. When I had to share with my little sister, we would FIGHT like crazy, jealous hens over the top rooster.

So naturally, I assumed my children are the same way. We have done everything we can to get them their own space. Even their own room.

Except R and T. They have to share. We got a bunk bed, tented off their respective beds and called it good.

It doesn't really work. Yeah, they fight. But the reason it doesn't work is not what you might think.

THIS is why it doesn't work ...

Yup, that is R and T sound asleep on the floor. Their room is the open door on the left. But for some reason, they like to have "sleep overs" in J's room (the open one straight ahead). So, instead of their comfy beds... they choose itchy carpet and cold, hallway tile for their night time slumber.

Really?

But they look so peaceful there! lol

I grow up sharing a room...in fact...never really had my own room..except for about a year...I think there is valuable lessons in sharing a space...

I really enjoyed the movie...just sat back and watched and didn't have to worry about the content!

I just have to know....do they all fight during the day???!!! My sisters and I shared a room until I was 15,then I got my own room. My sisters would pile into my bed at night to tell me about whatever and stay there till they were ready to sleep. Sometimes they made it back to their bed, sometimes not! Your bosys reminded me of my childhood. Thanks for a little stroll down memory lane!

Many hugs.......

Diane

This made me cry. In a good way.

I hope my boys are like that, too.

Me and my sisters didn't fight, so i was surprised when my girls do!!

I use to say that they had to share rooms, because I thought it taught them important principles... yeah, about a month ago we split them all up and PEACE AT LAST!!...
