Caught. Up.

EXCUSE ME WHILE I SHOUT!!!
BUT MY LAUNDRY IS ALL WASHED, FOLDED AND PUT AWAY.

For at least 24 hours, I will be caught up on my laundry.

"But why?" You ask. "Why is all the laundry in the car?"

Because I was desperate! Desperate, I tell you. The laundry was taunting me. Haunting ever living, breathing thought of my disturbed mind.

It called to me in the middle of the night, daring me to catch up, all the while multiplying faster than our local jackrabbit population. It was time to put an end to the ridicule!

I took 10 (that would be TEN) washing machines at the laundromat and I attacked! I sorted, I washed, I sweated (pretty much like a pig, I might add) I folded and I stacked.

Two hours and twenty bucks later, with only one broken nail, I finished.

I discovered an interesting phenomenon. Evidently, removing clothing from the dryer while it is still hot keeps the clothes from getting wrinkly. I had heard of this, but thought it was only folklore... something crazy housewives created as a legend. But now, I know that it is real.
Clothes really have less wrinkles when they come straight from the dryer. Simply Amazing.

Oh, and I don't know who's poop went through washing machine number 7, but hopefully it belonged to one of my kids, because I had to remove it... yuck. Really? Can someone please teach my kids to wipe the right way??

And now, as I sit icing my horribly aching back, I have determined it was totally all worth it.

Wow! Good for you.. today is my laundry day so but I don't think I will get it all done like you.
I even pull out some clothes before the dryer is done, to prevent shrinking and hang them up right away, it works wonders.

WooHoo!!!!! Good for you because laundry is one thing that recycles itself almost immediately!

I had the same "itching" and plan last week Thursday but right after I loaded up 7, yes 7 completly overloaded baskets of laundry, we had a hail and rain storm. I was soaked walking the 5 steps from my car to the front door. So... I waited out the storm by doing one basket of laundry at a time.. Still got it done but it took all day instead of 2 hours! ;p

10 loads of laundry! It was definitely in your best interest to go to the laundromat. Yay for empty laundry baskets! (As soon as you put all of the stuff away, of course.)

I have secretly loved the laundromat for years for that very reason. All done in one shot! Way to go!

I'm totally laughing because I did the very same thing not too long ago. Things just piled up so high it felt overwhelming! Now, a fresh start! You are such a cutie! You make me laugh and smile!

Congrats!! I am up to my ears in my laundry at the moment. I may catch up someday, but today is not looking good for that. :)
