Remember this post?
Well, I am happy to report that I took my son to a DIFFERENT endocrinologist. And not only did he want to treat J, he made it sound as though he should have been treated earlier!!!
I am so relieved. J needed this. I just had to find someone that agreed with me.
I am grateful for the Lord's hand in our life, for helping us get help!
Thanks everyone for your support!!

Oh Kathy, I am so thankful the Lord has led you to a doctor who knows what he/she is doing!!! I am so relieved to know J will be receiving the treatment he needs. This doctor should qualify for your angel blog!!!!
Have a great weekend!
Many hugs........

My daughter just had surgery and during the aftercare call the nurse made it very clear to trust my judgement not someone with letters after their name. I was sooo amazed! and glad someone agrees that mothers instinct is that important! I'm glad you stuck to it and got what you felt was right!

Kathy,
I'm glad you stuck to your gut & listened to the spirit. Too many people don't stand up for their children or even themselves.
I'm so glad you found a good doctor. It's hard to find one that you feel is out for your best interest, not their own pocketbook. Good luck with the treatment! I hope it helps J.
Way to go, Mom! I'm happy that you found a doctor you feel has your family's best interest at heart!
Sending you and your family lots of well wishes:)
Good for you! Sometimes I think as, 'good LDS people' that we are so trained to look to authority figures as absolutely right that we shortchange our Mommy intuition.
How are those cute little tootsies?
Glad you found someone who cared enough to listen to your concerns. Sometimes I feel like doctors are just trying to get you in and out as fast as they can--bottom line you know... Good for J--let us know if the treatment works for him!
I hope things work out with this new doc. You're such a great mom!!
KEWL BEANS!!!!!
