I was promised years ago by a seminary teacher that the Lord would answer our prayers directly through the Church’s bi-annual General Conference.
Here is how it works…
- Write down your most heartfelt concerns/problems. Things you need help with, answers for and direction about.
- Then, take those things to the Lord in sincere prayer.
- Finally, watch ALL broadcast sessions of General Conference (click here for times) with those concerns on your mind. You will be amazed at how the Holy Spirit will touch your heart.
It is also a great way for anyone who wants to know more about the Mormons to find out exactly what we are about without having to actually talk to anyone. Anybody can watch. Almost everyone can watch it from their home TV or via the Internet. No strings attached.
You will feel the love of our Heavenly Father so tenderly as His spirit touches your heart to answer your prayer. He knows each of us and the trials we face. He knows the words we need to hear. So give it a shot.

You don't know me, but I stumbled across your blog while visiting Katie's. I love your challenge and it's something I will do this conference. Thanks for sharing your testimony.
I think I'll try it, though I feel like the question I'm asking right now, the thing that is pressing on my mind, isn't really spiritual in nature. But we shall watch and see what answers come.
