It was bound to happen...

As a mother with four boys, I knew it was only a matter of time before one of them broke a bone of some sort.

Really, I am pretty surprised we went this long.

And, of all my children, R is definately the most likely to break something. He was doing stunts on his brothers bed when he fell off and landed on his arm.

This happened yesterday. Our Sunday's are becoming quite dangerous.

Thankfully, this buckle fracture was so minor we didn't have to get a cast, only a splint. For four weeks.

True to Murphey's Law, we got a call (only hours after getting his arm splinted) offering him a photoshoot for Bounce U... with a free Bounce U party in exchange. Stuff like that NEVER happens. R would have LOVED it! And of course I would have loved showing off my adorable son...

Looks like gymnastics will be on hold for a while.

Poor guy. But now he is going to be the "cool" guy at school. Lucky him, I guess! :)

Especially disappointing that he is not going to go to Bounce U because McKenna might go. :( Hope he is back to himself soon.

nice blog. i have to send my cousin your way. four boys, one baby on the way. ...not sure the gender yet. i just suggested to her in her new home that she put in a climbing rope. She has those ridiculous high ceilings, asked what to do with the space....decoration, etc. I thought a climbing rope was perfect, so did she. husband nixed it. i will have to come back and read more antics. sorry about the broken arm.

Ah, boys. My MIL had three and took a trip to the ER every other month or so.

So much to look forward to... :)

Not until last year that I had to deal with broken bones. Two of my boys at the time the 1yr old and the 12yr old both had to sport arm casts within weeks of each other.:(

Thanks for visiting my blog. Love to find new bloggy friends!Adding you to my blog roll
